One amongst the famous Landmarks are "Sri Keraleshwara Puram" Temple. This is one among the oldest Siva temple in Kerala and is believed to be built by Parasurama.

Southern part of this island is "The Bolghatty Palace", was built during the Dutch Invasion.

I spend my childhood here.now i am working at dubai.i ever remember this island. there are many people who works in cochin city are likes to live at this island.Because it is very nearest island to city and almost a silent and beautiful place.The south end of this island is known as Bolgatty.there is a palace situated at end of island,known as Bolgatty Palace.It was built by the Dutch. Now it is a famous tourist hub in cochin.I am proud of my island. thank you.
