"Holy Trinity" Church (Lozitsa)

The "Holy Trinity" Church ("Sveti Troitsa" Church) was built after the liberation of Bulgaria in 1883 in the village of Lozitsa. The icons of the church are made by a master from the Tryavna Art School, who works in the traditions of Orthodox art. In 1889, two painters painted the frescoes in the church. The brothers Saints Cyril and Methodius are depicted in a central place. The style of the frescoes is strongly influenced by Western European art.
