Forest of Buritis (Goiânia)

Located in the city center, in the Buritis Alameda, Avenida Assis Chateaubriand with street 1, Sector West, is the oldest heritage landscape of Goiânia, the Forest of Buritis occupying an area of approximately one hundred and twenty-five thousand square meters. Given station, gym and jogging track has three artificial lakes supplied by the Stream Buriti.
Since the occupation of the town until the present day, the area is experiencing interference that disfigure many unique features. The native vegetation, for example, was partly replaced by exotic plants, leaving only ten per cent of original forest. Were implanted in the Woods, sidewalk, Alambrado, paving internal, wire-ways, lakes, waterfalls and cafeteria.
Is built in the Art Museum of Goiânia, the Free Center of Arts and two works much like the taste of goianienses and why not tell the tourists: the Monument to Peace that holds land from several countries and a source that comes to reach fifty meters tall. Kiosks that serve coconut water and sugar cane juice, which sells newspapers and magazines, as well as flowers and ornamental plants to help make the site a favorite corner of the community
