Feira da Lua, whitch in english means “Moon’s Fair”, is given every Saturday, at the Tamandaré square, crossed by the Avenida Assis Chateaubriand avenue. Around nine hundred expositors make this Fair the second largest in the Goiás Capital. It exists since 1992, December 29. The reason which one it was created, was the trader’s appeal once the Feira do Sol (Sun’s Fair) couldn’t stand with more new fair dealers. The fashion section is one of the most visited once it’s commonly known by the quality and well fashioned clothes traded there. The food section follows its success. Cakes, tarts, candies, juices and traditional dishes from the local kitchen, make the menu from this area, which one is closely watched by the municipal health department. You can find yourself by looking to the tends colors, one for each fair section. You can also find mystic articles and large rand of handicraft variety, as can be surprised by the originality of the local plastic artists and general low prices.
