  • This property and buildings were donated by Prof. M.Thangavelu, former principal of the Trivandrum Medical College and advise to the World Health Organisation(who guided the Medical college through its formative years) to the Govt. of Kerala in order to establish the Saraswathy Thangavelu DNA Barcoding Center at the STEC - TGBRI, in fond memory of our mother Nanoo Saraswathy Thangavelu. The site was inaugurated by the Kerala Chief Minister.
