This large site offers beach access. Parking spaces are abundant, but picnic areas are not found in the park. Three boardwalks, offering beach access through the dunes, are available. Beach volleyball sites are available. A paved walkway, ending at the South Beach Pavilion, dissects the eastern side of the park from north to south. You can walk to the Red Reef Golf Course and Red Reef Park from this site. The oceanfront parks in Boca Raton (encompassing Spanish River, Red Reef, and South Beach) feature prohibitively expensive parking fees; however, you can gain free parking via a beach permit from the Greater Boca Raton Beach and Park District.
