This is the North end of the Dotsero Cutoff and is the point that the Denver and Salt Lake's Moffat Road from Denver meets the Denver and Rio Grande from Pueblo. This cutoff gave Denver it's first direct connection to the West and shortened the trip to Denver by 176 Miles. The tracks at this point have been pulled since they were originally laid down. The location of the modern junction is just to the south.

The town is called Bond .
