  • the restaurant is now closed - shut down by the govt due to a court order in mid april 2008
  • nice place to have delicious food. felt bad on closing it.
  • Corruption in high places and making people believe that robbing, stealing and exploitation are bad only for believers and superstitious people result in such things. Added to that people take sadistic pleasure. As a result we see degradation of society by exploiters who wrongly believe that they can cheat the God also. Probably they should realise that no human can avoid death and that they cannot carry anything with them when they die. What is the use of crores and crores they amass by their wrong doings. Woodlands Drive in happenings is a also just a passing event in this universe.
  • The new name for the Botanical park is CHEMMOZHI POONGA. It has been thrown open to the Public on November 24th, 2010. Amidst many exotic species of plant life, a herbal garden, an 'aromatics' garden etc are nestled several symbols of 'popular ' taste, such as fountains. The ceramic tiles are the rude reminder of kitschy TN PWD lineage.
