  • can any one tell me the season to visit for bird watchers
  • I love pulicate
  • how to reach pulicot lake.shall i go there with my family
  • January is the best time to visit the lake. There will be 50,000+ birds around that time. Flamingo festival happens during the first 2 weeks in January. If you are visiting the lake from Chennai, Take the Sulurpet train, and get down at Arambakkam or Sulurpet, where you can get boat for rent for sight seeing. There are 2 beautiful islands inside - Irukkam and Venadu. Enjoy with family and friends till evening in the islands and return back to main land, as there are no lodging available in the islands. Tada is the nearby town where you get everything.
  • thanks for useful information i will try in next Jan 2016
