Formerly the main building of the Hotel St. George, the most famous and luxurious hotel in Brooklyn, consisting of numerous connected buildings covering an entire city block. The buildings on the southeastern half are now owned by EHS, run as dorms for New York City college students. The tower on the western third of the site has been converted to condominiums. Its interior was largely gutted, however remnants of the former ballroom and pool are extant.
