Vista Entrada, a portion of Unit 20, was developed through the use of a Special Assessment District (SAD-5) to bring infastructure to a small area including paved roads, electric power, natural gas, city water and sewer. This is the largest such district in Rio Rancho, and its success in improving properties and increasing land values has led to the imposition of SAD-6 which will develop land just to the west in a similar manner.
