Deeper Marsh

A very popular riverside open space/picnic area. You can walk from New Bridge car park but there are also two car parks on the road along the western edge of the site. Towards the northern end is a deep pool, very refreshing for swimming. There are little islands to explore, greensward for ball games, ponies, plenty of river to paddle in. On an inflatable you can float yourself down the river. No facilities. This is a lovely spot but you won't be alone on a warm summer weekend.
