Training Village for Military Operations-Urban Terrain (MOUT). Built to look like a small German village during the Cold War era. It has since been made over first with Iraqi signage then with Afghan, while retaining the European exteriors.

    I trained in this area in the 80's & 90's. It had a long German name. Would you happen to know the original name? Since it's 'ancient history' I can't find anything online. Thanks.
