These schools are for the children of rich businessmen & highly paid servicemen only. Children of lower middle class families have difficulties to access these schools. In recent years, there is a surge in the numbers of these type of schools in kolkata. There is no Bad words in my analysis.

  • I am a student of this school, and my family members are not very rich businessmen or highly paid servicemen, they are plain middle-class people, and I disagree with the statement that only high-class people can be students of this school. It is one of the best schools.
  • I am Soumyasree Bhattacharyya of Class X, I have been in this school for the past 11yrs. I disagree with the fact that u have to be rich or classy to get admission in ghs,for honestly I am neither. It is the best school in india and both the teachers and the students create a very comfortable environment. It is a place to establish firm bonds and is a home to many students from middle class families who r given the opportunity to excel.it has,does and will always have a very special place in my heart and the memories will always be cherished by me.
  • Garden High School is one of the best schools in India and probably the best school in West Bengal. The school has always stood true to its motto of "knowledge, wisdom and emancipation" . It is for all type of students and m=not only the so called "rich, classy" ones.
  • have you checked the school fees ? pls check and then find out the income of middle class family in the city and do an analysis first and then revert.
  • ITs old story....i went to see the annual function --- they were all trying to copy western culture.... the students passing out from theer will all be working for foreign companies and no one will serve the country or the society.
