Pottsboro Elementary School is a Head Start—3rd grade elementary school located at 101 Hwy 120 in Pottsboro, TX. Our school mascot is the Cardinal with school colors of red and white. An average student population of 400 is served by a staff of 31 certified teachers, 14 support personnel and our principal, Gary Canada.

Our school is built on a strong foundation of dedicated and caring certified staff, support staff and supportive parents. We are a high achieving campus of learners who settle for nothing but the best. Our goal as professionals is to provide the very best education for the students as well as provide assistance and support for our families. Through a close bond between our staff, our PTA, and the community, we have made Pottsboro Elementary one of the best kept secrets in Texas, and we always welcome visitors to come share in the experience. We take pride in saying, “We are family”, and we wouldn’t have it any other way.

School Times

Each day begins at 8:15 a.m. and ends at 3:15 p.m. Head Start and Kindergarten students can be picked up at 2:30 p.m. Breakfast is free and is served each day from 7:30—8:05.
