This was a Watch Post, when the Fort Rajmachi was in use till the year 1818. From here a steep path way climbes down towards villages in Raigad District, i.e. Mundyachi Thakurwadi, Kondhane and Kondivde. Also, one can visit the ancient Buddhist Caves (Kondhane Caves) of 200 BC period.
