The enormous open book dihedral known as the "Doors of Perception" is the most striking feature of the northeast face of North Palisade. It contains 3 pitches of Class 5.8 crack and chimney climbing, and then easier ground is reached above.
First climbed in July 1970 by Allen Steck and Doug Robinson.
