Castle (Pacov)

The former Royal castle dates from 12th Century. In the 16th century was rebuilt as the castle and in 1708 was rebuilt in Baroque style as the Carmelite monastery and the neighbor church was built. By order of Emperor Joseph II. was the monastery disestablished, later was the eastern wing demolished. After 1945, there were barracks of Czechoslovak People´s Army. After 1989 it is used to cultural purposes.
