The Aon Center is a modern supertall skyscraper located at the New Eastside in the Loop community area of Chicago, Illinois, United States. Designed by Edward Durrell Stone with assistance from Perkins & Will, the building has a height of 1,136 ft (346 m) with 83 floors and 5 underground floors. It was constructed from 1970 to 1973 at a cost of US$120,000,000. Each side of the building has 15 vertical bands of black windows, recessed between triangular white piers. The facade of the steel-framed building originally incorporated Carrara marble. From 1990 to 1992, the marble was replaced with Mount Airy white granite.

The building was originally the headquarters of the Standard Oil Company of Indiana and was named the Standard Oil Building. In 1985, the company was renamed Amoco Corporation and the building was renamed the Amoco Building. The building took its current name in 1999 and has served as the headquarters of Aon since 2001.
