  • Formerly called "ThunderDome"
  • It was designed with a deliberately uneven ceiling/roof. The infield is fairly low as balls seldom go very high there, the outfield is very high since that's where people are hitting towards. This was supposed to conserve on energy spent on air conditioning. Unfortunately, this gives the building a somewhat alarmingly tilted appearance from outside, and many tourists seeing it for the first time assume it's sinking into a sinkhole or whatever.
  • The Devil Rays are in the ALCS this year. I hope they beat the Red Sox to move onto the World Series.
  • The Rays are ALCS Champs!! Lets beat the Phillies
  • I know it's not perfect, but it's my home ballpark, and the first place I ever saw a Major League game. It's nice to have 0f rain-outs, and comfy air conditioning. It's amazing, all the different types of events that have been hosted here, from baseball (obviously) to football, hockey, basketball (including the NCAA men's Final Four), rodeo competitions, concerts, school graduations, etc etc etc. It might be an ugly dome, but it's OUR ugly dome!
