Raj Bhavan (Hindi for Government House) is the official residence and office of the Governor of Odisha. It is located in the capital city of Bhubaneswar, Odisha.
The capital was shifted in 1959 from Cuttack to Bhubaneswar, which was declared as the new capital of Odisha. And it was then; a new Raj Bhavan was constructed on a hillock, known as 'Bhalu Mundia' located on the western part of the new township. The construction this Rajbhavan was completed on 31 March 1960.
