White Tower Square (Thessaloniki)

A symbolic tower that was once part of a fortification which defended the city. Thessaloniki's annual book fair takes place here. This is also the main gathering point for celebrations in the city. The crowds tend to extend westward on the old waterfront promenade towards Aristotle Square.
