The excellent example of Baroque church construction from the first half of 17th century, built by an Italian architect Ottavio Broggio. Largest reconstruction was made in the years 1883-1885, surrounding cemetery was abandoned and changed into a park.
Last great repairs took place in 1995 - 1998.
