Unless something has changed, this state park can claim the only monument in the entire United States with both a Confederate Soldier and a Union Soldier on it (they're on the top, shaking hands). Also has spectactular views of the river and downtown area. Don't miss the Ochs museum on the path down the mountain. More great views, and some amazing Civil War Relics

  • This isn't a state park; it's part of the Chickamauga and Chattanooga National Military Battlefield and, as such, is adminstered by the Department of the Interior the same as any other national park.
