  Lcc Golf Course started in the year 1989 by the then CMD of NLC Ltd., Mr. MAHIP SING with 9 Greens. Later it tranformed into a 18 hole Course with brown putting area. In 2002 after annexing with Lignite City Club, Neyveli, in 2004 the LCC Golf Course once again transformed into a 9 Hole Course (all greens), thanks to R.N. Singh Dir/Power, Mr.Rajendran CVO/President LCC, Codr.Francis Xavier, CGM/P&A & Vice President LCC and Mr. N.Ravi Secretary Lcc, . Now it is an affiliated body of the Indian Golf Union, with regular Golfing activity through out the Year. Adopted by the Neyveli Lignite Corporation, the Power Gaint of the South India, as the GREEN BELT area is a enviromental friendly area, totally free of pollution and a pleasant green base situated over 40 acres of land is moving towards an extension to 18 holes very soon. A rare opurtunity available for the employees of this public sector is gaining huge popularity as this being the only Golf Corse south of Chennai -the State Capital of TAMIL NADU.
