according to police aerial photographs , this is the exact location of the rettendon murders of 1995 , the fence running across the field from SE to NW continues across the road as a gate which prevented the range rover entering the farmland any further .

  • The exact location is further to the right of the crosshairs, pretty much where the field opens out. The map is also way out of date as the path is now crushed ashfelt, much wider, with some kind of war memorial near the location of the murders.
  • Lane looks nothing like that nowadays. It has been widened with a war memorial at the entrance to the field which is the actual location that the murders took place.
  • is this loacation workhouse lane or moss lane?
