Bronze plaque mounted on native rock memorial. Memorial is on the top of a 350 foot tall hill overlooking the rolling countryside of northern California. Grove consists of 32 Oak trees that were planted in memory of the 32 Contra Costa County citizens who died in the war. The grove of trees surround a square field of grass in the middle of which is a flagpole. It is a quiet and peaceful setting.

  • The Vietnam Memorial is a grove of oak trees at the top of a hill. There is a bronze memorial to veterans of the Vietnam War, and a flag pole. The view of Concord and beyond is quite nice!
  • Would sure be nice if someone knew what is inscribed on the plaque and share it here.
