On the place of the old Slavic ducal fortification was built the Renaissance castle by Zdenek Berka of Duba, after the White-Mountain Battle was rebuilt in Baroque style in 1624 by Zdenek Czernin of Chudenice. Later was the castle sold to Prince of Lobkowitz family.
