Originally a Gothic castle was built in the mid of 13th century on a large rock and also named by it(in Czech kamen means the rock). The first written records are from 1316 and the 1318. Since 1523 the castle for nearly 200 years was owned by one of the major branches of the Czech family Malovec. In the mid of 16th century the manor reach maximum expansion. To the castle belonged the same named town and ten serf villages. At present the bike museum.
