Former Butcher’s Association building

Initially built in the 14th century, transformed in the 16-18th century.
The facade is structured on four axes, with doors with full shutters and frames of former shops dated around 1900. The facade partly preserves the old mural painting dated 16-17th century.
HISTORY:
On the ground floor functioned some butchers, and the house belonged since the 20th century to the Butcher’s Association;
Traces of a copper oven and a coin from 1572 have been discovered during archaeological works inside.
Here lived the piano player Maria Klein Hintz (1891 Brasov – 1980 Sibiu)
