This is Konnipati Satyanarayana, studies in T M Rao High School during the year 1980. Presently in Hyderabad.
Anicent Buddhist stupa has been excavated in Bhattiprolu.

  • Bhattiprolu is an Ancient small town in the Guntur district and contains the remains of a Buddhist stupa located on a mound.A beautiful villages surrounded by canals,small lakes and lavish green fields. The original name of Bhattiprolu was Pratipalapura a flourishing Buddhist town in the ancient Sala kingdom that predated Andhra Satavahanas. From available inscriptional evidence, King Kubera was ruling over Bhattiprolu around 230 BCE. Bhattiprolu is situated on Guntur-Repalle railway line at a distance of 11 kms. from Repalle in Guntur district. From Repalle Bhattiprolu is well connected by bus and train and there are frequent buses from Tenali ,Repalle and Guntur. Private transport is also available.

  • I completed my school education in this town up to ssc in viswa santhi school,this is place of temples , stupa of budda located here.There is a festival named as RADHAM TIRUNALA celebrated once in an every year,on tis day the radam was pulled from bhattiprolu to addepalli (the height of tis radham is more than two flouried building).it is surrounded by green fields and it has bus&train facilities to tis place .it is nearer to repalli& also to tenali.

  • Bhattiprolu is a historic place. This place is famous for agriculture feilds good atmosphere and famous of great handloom fabrics. So many students studies in T M Rao High School are in very good job positions.
  • I was born in this great village. What a great place to be around. I started my schooling in Addepalli, and continued in one of the convent schools near mosque. (Forgot the name of the school). Bhattiprolu thirunala is one of the greatest moments which I thouroughly enjoyed and remembered. I used to visit Parvathi and Durga talkies along with my siblings, and uncles. Tiffin centers near the vegitable market are great. I currently live in USA, however, I still cherish my great moments in this area. I love the place.

  • As on 18 Nov 2012 there are 3 villages viz. Sivangulapalem, Aaddepalli and Pesarlanka that have not yet been tagged in Bhattiprolu mandal.
  • i was born in addepalli village of bhattiprolu. i really feel proud to born in such a place which was surrounded totally by fields and lakes and small ponds. this place is also mainly known for buddha stupa and many beautiful temples. i currently studying my medicine in philippiness. really i love my village.
