This specific building is the Villa del Priorato di Malta (Villa Malta). It also hosts the embassy of the Order to the Holy See and the embassy to Italy. The estate is one of two Roman properties belonging to the Sovereign Military Order of Malta, the other being Palazzo Malta. Villa Malta is extraterritorial possession since 1869.
