Former lumber industry cookhouse, now a tourist eatery. That is to say that they feed tourists, not eat them. The Cookhouse was the first stop on the Gubernator's current campaign tour, and he had breakfast there.

The Cookhouse serves meals as if it were still feeding the crew of the sawmill; rather than ordering from a menu, you're served what's on the menu for the current meal, and you're offered seconds.

To get there, turn off of U.S. 101 onto S.R. 255 in either Arcata or Eureka.
