This is the temple of Time God called Mahakaal (Maha = great, kaal = Time). Also known by the name of Kaal Bhairab, the giant idol is worshipped and prayed by both Hindus and the Buddhists heal their ailments caused by the karmas (deeds) bound by time. This is located by the side of Nepal Army Hospital Liasson office and Bir hospital (Nepal's biggest government hospital).
