Luxury condominium complex recently converted from an office building. It was built in 1889-90 as the German National Bank, which catered to German-speaking immigrants to the Pittsburgh area. The building's architecture, by Bickel & Brennan, partakes of the "Richardsonian Romanesque" style that characterizes H.H. Richardson's famed Allegheny County Courthouse, a few blocks to the south-southeast.
