‘Chiramel Welfare Association’ is a registered charitable association of members of the Chiramel families of Pazhuvil origin who actively promote the overall welfare and harmony of Chiramel families. The association started functioning on 15th August 2001, inaugurated on 4th November 2001 by Mar Jacob Thoomkuzhy at the annual family meet held at Aranattukara, which was hoisted by Tharakan Family, and registered under Travancore-Kochin Charitable Societies Act,1955 vide Regn.No.93/2002, on 02.02.2002. The Association has 250 life members as on August 2008.
