Overgrown former town cemetery with lots of wrought iron graveplots and big gravestones.
Final resting place of many of the early leaders of Nashville and Brown County, including doctors, judges, state legislators and business owners.
It was originally three separate cemeteries, but the lines between them have blurred and South View is the generally accepted name.
Last recorded burials were in the 1940s.
The cemetery has been the subject of significant work by the Brown County Cemetery Preservation Society in recent years to include grave marker restoration and tree and brush removal.
