The Fountain of Ribeirão is a valuable example of colonial architecture. It was built in 1796 by Governor Don Antonio Fernando de Noronha. Located in a large courtyard, covered with hewn stone and surrounded by two walls, the Source of Ribeirão is ornamented with a pediment decorated with religious symbols that are supported by two pillars side.
