Memorial for the Egyptian Prince Kamal ad Din Hussein, who explored the desert in the 1920ies (he was a good friend of Ladislaus Almasy). The limestone plate was destroyed by egyptian military because it mentions that the Prince explored the "Libyian "desert (the correct geographical designation), but what is to Egyptians the Western Egyptian Desert. Famous Samir Lama collected the pieces when he found the plate destroyed and put it together so that it can be read today.
