BNSF freight trains cross the Wind River on this steel bridge. The bridge was built for the Chicago, Burlington and Quincy Railway as part of a 12 mile line relocation which opened in 1950. The relocation was caused by the construction of Boysen Dam, and the resulting reservoir.
