Completed in 1997, Menara City One is a freehold condominium developed by UDA Holdings (www.uda.com.my/). It comprises of a 30-storey tower with 502 condominium units. Unit built-up sizes are ranging from 1,121 sf to 1,559 sf. Besides residential, it also houses 49 shop lots on the ground floor. There are large number of foreign workers residing in this condominium, which include Indians, Bangladeshis, Nepalese, and Pakistanis. Due to its location, one may find that the area here is not a favorite spot for raising a family.

There are plenty complaints heard by the residents of Menara City One, which mostly about maintenance and hygiene issues. Some residents claimed that many foreign workers use the swimming pool for washing clothes and even for brushing teeth. Among other complaints are poor lighting in the car park, smelly building, and noise pollution. Due to this, the subsale price of Menara City One has since keeps depreciating even though its immediate neighbours such as Maytower and The Capsquare Residences prices keep going up. Consequently, there are several units on auction can be found at reserved price below RM200,000.

  • Yes swimming pools are still used by labours... after their work finished in construction, restuarants they use swimming pools to bath.
