Kentucky Truck Assembly is an automobile manufacturing plant owned by Ford Motor Company in Louisville, Kentucky. The 4,626,490 square-foot plant on 500 acres opened in 1969 and currently (as of 2021) employs over 8,000 people total. The plant houses approximately 24 miles of conveyor belts. Not to be confused with the Louisville Assembly Plant.

The F-250 through F-550 Ford Super Duty line of trucks, as well as the Ford Expedition and Lincoln Navigator, are built here as of 2021. At one time, medium and heavy trucks (semis) and over the road haulers were built here.

  • It's not the entire area. Needs to be scaled down.
  • They do not make semis there anymore. They stop production of the Aeromax and some other versions about 10 years ago. They currently produce the super duty F series which includes the 250, 350, 450, 550 and 650. Before production was stopped, they produced the Excursion at KTP.
