One Hundred Steps is a historical heritage open-aired stairway leading from the start of Fourth Avenue in the city to Palace Road at Red Hill. It was completely restored on 23rd November 2000 and handed over to the Sandakan Municipal Council. It is part of the Sandakan Heritage Trail.
