These apartments were built in 1997 as Sterling University apartments, changing names in the mid-2000s. A small part of the property closest to the railroad was not developed (likely for drainage reasons). The construction of the apartments also ensured that Marion Pugh Road could never extend straight through to Harvey Mitchell Parkway without modification of the land the apartments sat on or the route of the road.
