In 1987, Broadacre pioneered the development of CityFront Center, one of the largest waterfront industrial land parcels in downtown Chicago, through the acquisition and redevelopment of the 500,000 square foot North Pier Terminal warehouse building. It is now known as the river East Art Center.

  • This site was previously contained North Pier Mall. It contained several levels of restaurants and arcades. It closed in the mid 1990s. Home to the first Battletech (Mechwarrior by FASA)Center aka Virtual World.
  • Gosh, North Pier. I hadn't had thought about that in years, nor the Battletech Center and arcade that was inside this former mall! Man, I had a lot of memories going there, very long ago....
