Project Ashwini aims to provide timely access to an array of high quality services to over 500,000 people in 32 Ashwini villages in West Godavari district and neighboring villages of rural Andhra Pradesh using a virtual delivery platform by facilitating interaction between experts and service providers, and the villages.
In functional terms, Project Ashwini involves delivery of high quality healthcare, education, agriculture, livelihoods training and e-governance to the chosen villages. Ashwini centers will be established in each village, where experts in various fields of knowledge and practice will be connected to the village population from the Studios in Hyderabad/Bhimavaram with help of Video Conference Equipment.
