  • Great School Intellectually but the discimination based on ranks and putting students in class A to G is very superficial. That policy I hope has changed. need to focus more on extr curricular than pure academics....very soon you are going to fight all the private schools...

  • I attended this school in late 60's. Great school. Good education, and I was in "F" division. Then I went to Ruia College.
  • i am the past student (1973). Now on the board of Govening Council, all i want to say, is the school is still the best amongst the schools in the vicinity. i mean what i say, if somebody compares apples with oranges than he is at fault and his opinion should not be taken, V Lotlikar Sir's vision was education to many , and that's why we have 623 schools and nearly 70000 students studing , had been only for elite we would not gone beyond 5 to six schools , today more than 45 schools are running at aloss and it is being compensated by other activities of the I E S Trust and not from the remaing 17 schools. this is mainly because there are dedicated G C members and mind it 'most of them are past students' right from 87 years old Shri Madhave Mantri(1937 batch) to 38 years Amol Dhamdhere.(1981) none of them are paid and all of them work in HON capacity in respect and love for their alma-matter.

  • I studied in Raja Shivaji Vidyalay and passed out in 1980. I fondly remember this school and all my friends. We had a lot of fun and a great education. This school gave me a lot of self confidence and my present success is greatly due to what I learnt here. I was not a topper but in the top five. By the ways I was in A Division. I still remember Mrs Shastri who was our Principal then in 1979 -1980. I also remember my teachers Mrs. Khatu, Mrs. Rangnekar, Mr Raut [PT] and Mrs. Valanju. I remember my class mates Girish Laud, Chetan Munankar, Mohan Kulkarni and Nitin Karmarkar. I remember Atul Gaitonde and Satyendra rao. I also remember Kishore Chaphekar and Nitin Mngekar.
