Originally, the Clovis Asylum was built to be a residence for Todd Andriotti and his family in the early 1900’s.
In 1942, it was purchased by Mr. and Mrs. Brashears and developed into a Sanitarium/Asylum.
Later, it was sold and converted into a nursing home for the elderly.

The Wolfe Manor/Clovis Sanitarium (combined) was an 8,000 square foot structure.
There were two documented murders that took place in the building in which one patient killed another patient.
There were instances of abuse at the sanitarium, which has lead many of the community members in Clovis to desire to have the Clovis Sanitarium destroyed.

Dead bodies were stored in the basement of the Clovis Sanitarium / Wolfe Manor.
