Woolco operated at this site from the 1960s to 1994 when the Woolco chain was sold to Wal-Mart. Wal-Mart closed the store in 2003 when it opened a new store to the west. The 124,000 sq. ft. building remained vacant until 2009 and the expiration of Walmart's lease. Currently being subdivided into retail stores.
