US-101 & SR 1 Golden Gate Bridge (San Francisco, California)

This one of the famous landmarks in the Bay Area. It connects San Francisco County with Marin County. Pedestrians can use the bridge during certain hours and it is preferred that they use the east side. Bicyclists have a right to use the bridge at all hours and there is a protocol for signaling the security services to have a gate opened.
